Georgetown Tribal Council is tasked with the intentions of the members as documented in the Constitution, bylaws and Ordinances.

 Debby Hartman
Debby Hartman, Tribal Council Member, holds seat C until 2008. Debby was born in Anchorage, AK to Bob and Ann Vanderpool of Georgetown. Debby has worked at MTNT, Limited for six years as the Executive Assistant. Debby’s role in the Council has been invaluable as she is committed to the member’s goal of village resettlement.

 Tamara Vanderpool
Tamara Vanderpool serves as Vice Chair of Georgetown Tribal Council, holding seat B which is up for reelection in 2008. Born in Anchorage, Alaska and currently raising two sons in McGrath, Tamara is daughter of member Richard Vanderpool and Judy Vanderpool of McGrath. Tamara is big asset in the guidance of GTC as she has previously worked as Tribal Administrator for McGrath Native Village Council and is currently employed as the Upper Kuskokwim Sub regional Director at Tanana Chiefs.

Jonathan, who holds seat A until 2010, is currently attending The University of Alaska Fairbanks studying Business and Tribal Management. He is the son of Debby Hartman of McGrath and a 2005 graduate of McGrath High School and Valedictorian of his class.

 Gary “Isa” Fredericks
Holding seat E, Gary “Isa” Fredericks is the most newly elected Member of the Georgetown Tribal Council with a term ending in 2009. Gary, also Council Chairman, was born in Georgetown and currently lives in Bethel with his family. Gary has previously served as a Georgetown Council Member and has worked for the Lower Kuskokwim School District, for over 20 years, as the payroll and accounting manager.

David "Buddy" Kutch, of Chugiak, Alaska, currently holds seat D on the Georgetown Tribal Council and also serves as the Council's secretary. Buddy, who is a grandson of original Georgetown member Liz Evans and son of member Betty Evans,was born and raised in Bethel, Alaska. Buddy graduated from Bethel Regional High School in 1999 and for two years has been attending school through the University of Phoenix Online major and in Psychology.
