Subject: Open Application Period: January 1, 2026 – June 30, 2026
AVCP Regional Housing Authority will be accepting applications for the Home Rehabilitation Program and Homebuyer Program in preparation for 2027 development activities in your community.
Applicants must apply only during the open application period, which is January 1, 2026, through June 30, 2026. Applications will not be considered current prior to January 1, 2026. Applications must be complete and include all required supporting documentation by the end of June in order to be placed on the eligible waitlist.
The purpose of this open and closing application period is to allow AVCP-RHA to gain a clear understanding of each community’s housing needs, including the balance between rehabilitation and new housing, and to help determine the appropriate design and specifications for new homes to be constructed.
Once a completed application and all required documentation are received, the application will be assigned a date received. Applicants who were on a previous waiting list may retain their original date if they complete a new application and are deemed eligible. Otherwise, they will be removed from the waiting list and lose their original application date.
Paper applications will be available at your local Tribal Office. Completed applications and supporting documents can be emailed to intake@avcphousing.org. An electronic, fillable application is also available on our website at www.avcphousing.org.
AVCP-RHA Intake Specialists will visit the community during the open application period to assist with the application process. The date of this visit will be shared with the Tribal Office once confirmed.
We kindly ask community members to help spread the word about this application period and assist elders and others who may need support completing their applications.
